Piano Lessons

Music Moves for Piano lessons begin with Book 1 for all beginners (first grade and older) as well as transfer students.  Students register for 40 minutes of weekly instruction during the academic year (34 weeks).  Our goal is to schedule your child in an instructional setting in which he will get the most out of piano lessons.  Some students schedule one-on-one weekly instruction; however, many students take advantage of our flexible scheduling format and reap the benefits of a longer, shared lesson time and a peer group setting.

Additional Saturday group lessons are scheduled throughout the year so that your child can make up a missed lesson, improve their performance skills, and have an opportunity to reinforce or expand on other skills learned at a weekly lesson.

Two spring recitals are scheduled - an Improvisation Celebration Recital in April and our annual Spring Recital in June.

In addition, several studio events are incorporated into the academic year and help to motivate your child to set and reach appropriate goals.

Tuition for Piano is $1045 for 34 weekly lessons, additional group lessons, and performances.   Lessons are prorated for piano students who join our program second semester.  Equal monthly payments ($104.50 for ten months or $87.00 for 12 months) can be made with automatic recurring billing or post-dated checks (due at first lesson). An annual studio registration and materials fee is $100 for Piano Lessons and $50 for Piano Transition students.  Registration fees are fully refunded if we are not able to find a lesson time that works for your family.  When your child's lesson time is reserved, please understand that students are expected to pay in full for each semester whether or not they attend all of the lessons.  We do our best to provide makeup lessons when the schedule permits, but cannot always do so.  In order to provide proper closure and fill vacated lesson times, please alert the instructor before Christmas if you need to withdraw second semester.
